Watchmen on the Walls

Isaiah 62:6-7

I have posted watchmen (Notzrim) on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

An interesting thing about this verse is that the biblical hebrew word for "watchmen" is "Notzrim", which just happens to be the same word used by modern hebrew today for "christians". So, in modern language, this verse says that God has posted Christians on the walls of the old city to pray for Jerusalem.

I just uploaded a VR program at Littlstar that will allow YOU to be one of those watchmen! In this program we take a 5 minute walk on the walls surrounding the old city of Jerusalem, and literally transport you to several locations along the ramparts of Jerusalem as we pray Psalm 122.

This was February 2016, when March of Remembrance took our second tour of the land. On this day we went from the Jaffe Gate to the Kotel in a prayer walk along the ramparts of the city.

So grab your VR headset and join us now!
