But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish

As Zebulon and Naptali were treated with contempt

For in that day, He has made it glorious

By the way of the sea, across the Jordan in the Galilee



The people who walked in the shadows have seen a great light

Those who lived in a dark land,

the light has shined on them

He will break the yoke of their burdens



For unto us a child has been born, unto us a son has been given

And the government will rest upon His shoulders

And His name will be called Mighty God, Eternal Father, Sar Shalom



Thou shalt multiply their joy, Thou shalt increase their gladness They will be glad to come into Thy presence

As with the gladness of harvest,

As men rejoice when they divide the spoil



There will be no end to the increase of His Kingdom or of His peace On the throne of David He will establish the government

And uphold it with righteousness from then on and forevermore



For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given
